First time going to JINYA and first thing you walk in you see the exposed brick wall adorned with a striking geisha mural adds a bold artistic touch, illuminated by soft, warm lighting that enhances the restaurant's cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere!! They also have a bar of you want to just hang around and relaxed. I had the "Impossible Rice Bowl" is a visually striking plant-based option, the meat is well-seasoned and the kale, though fresh, can be tough and overpowering, but it gave a balance to the dish and the pickled garnish provides a bright contrast, but overall, the bowl was satisfying every bite. I added some flavorful dressing they had on the table giving it more spicy to the dish. I also ordered the Brussels sprouts and it was okay. They had a special that day of croquettes and let me tell you it was delicious! Overall the service was great well attended. Most definitely I'll go again!

I love this place! We have been many times since a previous Yelp event and the service has been consistently good every time. I have moved further north so it is now a bit of a drive, especially with all of the construction, but we still make the trip occasionally. I love their spicy chicken ramen and I add a seasoned egg. My boyfriend rotates between ordering various nonspicy dishes. They typically have other people, but it has never been too busy or crowded to have a long wait.

Cute place! The inside decor is nice, mural is cool. We sat outside since it was nice. I'm glad they had that option! Got the seaweed salad, which they skimped out on. They put normal green salad underneath instead of just filling the whole plate with seaweed salad which made it feel like they were skimping out on just giving more seaweed salad . That was disappointing. Got the Tonkatsu black since it had all the fixings . It tasted pretty good. Wasn't the most flavorful thing I've tasted but it was satisfying and the perfect portion to not be overly stuffed. Overall pretty good place.

I'd been to Jinya in Utah visiting a friend, so I knew we were in for a treat but wouldn't have known this was a chain otherwise.  There are multiple vegan options - we ordered the Flying Vegan Harvest and Spicy Creamy Vegan.  The verdict was that the Flying Vegan Harvest was actually spicier than the Spicy Creamy Vegan but both tasty.  For me, the portion sizes are huge, almost sharable, but not really a dish that's easy to share and not something I'd want to take home as "leftovers".  Since it's delicious I usually just gorge myself but wish the portions were a little bit smaller.

Appetizers: Octopus balls. I was hesitant about this one because..well..it's octopus. I'm glad I tried it though because it was good! It's definitely more breading than octopus and if you're not careful you might miss the octopus cause it's not a big piece. Definitely something to try if you're wanting to get out of your comfort zone. Wings: The wings had a sweet & savory taste to them that I really enjoyed. Entree: I had the spicy chicken ramen bowl. You get a choice on the level of spice and I chose mild. It was the perfect amount of spice for me. My only negative is that I wished there wasn't so much spinach. Other than that, great! Dessert: The two ice cream choices are chocolate and matcha. I had the chocolate ice cream and the outside was this "shell" that was made of what tasted like rice (?) and the inside was chocolate ice cream. It was different..but in a good way! I loved the painting on the wall and the staff were very friendly!

Very chill vibe and cool aesthetic I like that you can see the cooks in the kitchen and it appears to be a full bar. It's a tight space but wasn't very busy when I went around 7ish on a Tuesday. I don't think I'd like being there if it was packed. I first had Jinya in Canada so I'm definitely excited to have them close. I really like the ramen I had the spicy chicken ramen and added egg. The got the fish powder on the side with chili sauce and spicy sauce, the fish powder was a no for me so I didn't add it but maybe good if you want the more fishy taste it'll be good to add. Their ramen isn't like traditional I had spinach in my ramen it was actually good. They don't have fish cake, corn or other traditional add On's. The meal originally comes with thin noodles I got mines with thick noodles. I really enjoyed the cone it was really good and the panna cotta had a great flavor but I wasn't a fan of the texture. I was glad I tried it but probably won't get it again lol (meaning the panna cotta)
